Yep, I randomly came up with a bunch of plots, even though the site is dead and I should probably just delete it now.
PLOT IDEAS:
- Day stops coming, so the Celestial Guild freaks out and the Lunar Republic rejoices. Being that she's the princess and the most powerful alicorn, the CG turn to Poison Crisis to try and bring up the sun. Of course, she has no idea how to do so, and tries to stall. In the middle of this gathering outside the palace, an alicorn named Sunburst/Sunbeam bursts in, saying that Celestia and Luna made it so that the sun and moon would cycle for another one million years upon their deaths. But guess what? Those million years have passed. Sunburst/Sunbeam claims that she has divine heritage (is an ancestor of Celestia), and that she should take her rightful place as the CG's princess and rise the sun each morning. Enraged that Sunburst/Sunbeam is threatening her rank, Poison claims that they need no sun. Of course, the crowd is completely enraged that Poison is saying that there is no need for their sun, their beloved Celestia, but Poison continues, ranting about the worthlessness of Celestia and the sun. Sunburst/Sunbeam and Poison get into a battle. Most of the CG guards fight on Sunburst/Sunbeam's side, but one or two fight with Poison. After a lot of fighting, a brilliant light illuminates the palace grounds, as Sunbeam/Sunburst had created a solar flare. She destroys Poison, taking her rightful place as princess.
However, Sunburst/Sunbeam isn't finished. She calls out each of Poison's foals (gained in the plot linked to in the news fader), and, obviously, they think that their death is soon to come. However, she has no intention to kill a foal, and tells them that they have a choice to make; go to one of the other groups or stay in the Celestial Guild, un-allowed to ever have foals of their own. (The foals' RPers, of course, would choose their choices).
Most members who remain loyal to Poison leave, and Sunbeam/Sunburst allows Poison followers who don't to stay (ranking down the guard(s) who are loyal to Poison, as it would be very risky not to). She then rises the sun, but a problem arises: she can't move the moon or the stars out of the way, leaving the sky crowded! It seems like I should continue this in another plot~
- The brightness is unbearable, especially for the Lunar Republic. They angrily tell their current leader to lower the moon and stars, but she reacts much like Poison did. Sunbeam/Sunburst tracks down the Lunar Republic, giving them a message:
"We'll give you a month without our army tracking you down, so that you can move your camp as far away from here as possible, if and only if you lower the moon and stars."
Intrigued by the offer, they begin a protest against their leader. During this, an alicorn tells them to halt. Why do they listen to this voice? It's coming from the moon, as well as from a pony who wouldn't even be noticed through the chaotic protest. The alicorn casually introduces herself and tells them about her divine heritage. In the same frightening casualness, she beheads the leader of the LR and states that she is now the princess of the Lunar Republic. The LR is iffy on this until she lowers the moon and stars.
